This API enables fintech platforms to programmatically retrieve consolidated credit reports from Equifax, covering Retail segments. This is achieved through a secure redirection flow designed to ensure explicit user consent.

Flow Overview

Session Initiation

The API consumer(you) initiates a session via the Inititate Session API Endpoint.

User Redirection for Consent

The end user is redirected to a Deepvue-hosted page where they review the purpose, provide consent, and authenticate using supported ID methods.

User Redirection back to your application

Once consent is granted, the end user is redirected back to your application using the provided redirect_uri in the Initiate Session API call.

Download Report

The platform(you) uses a transaction_id sent to you during redirection to your application to pull the credit report programmatically via the Download Report API Endpoint.
This flow ensures complete compliance with data privacy and consent norms, while allowing fully automated credit insights retrieval within your onboarding or underwriting workflows.
